The hasta-mudras (hand gestures) of Indian classical dance can express countless different meanings & things involving not only the hands and fingers but also the wrists, elbows, and shoulders, all in movement.


These gestures or Mudras when performed in sequence can depict an emotion, showcase a scene or narrate a complete story.


Aboli is a professional Dancer & a mandala artist from India. She specializes in Classical Dance Style "Kathak" with more than two decades of experience. She has finished her Masters degree in Performing Arts with a gold medal!!


Solo performances & group choreographies across India & other parts of globe showcasing varied aspects of "Kathak" including delicate hand gestures. As "Kathak" takes its movements from life, stylizes them gracefully, and adds the complex rhythmic patterns to convey different moods of life on earth, it touches almost all the emotions of human life.
