Hale is the founder of Turkish Tale! Well, you probably already know Hale and have tried her delicious food. If not, you need to do it in our Winter Market, you will love it. Hale fell in love with a Dutch guy, got married and moved to Eindhoven from Istanbul in 2016. Almost all of her recipes belong to her family, she cooks Turkish food that is hard to find in Eindhoven. She really wants to show that “Turkish Food is more than kebabs”.  Hale shares weekly homemade takeaway menus, does private and corporate caterings and gives Turkish food workshops.

My Indian Kitchen was founded by Prajitha Bijoy. Prajitha came recently to Eindhoven and turned her passion for traditional Indian food into a wonderful business. She cooks with her heart following the recipes she learned since she was a child. My Indian Kitchen delivers homemade, freshly cooked food to customers. Prajitha does not store or pre-cook anything, you really can taste the fresh ingredients. Prajitha takes orders for the next day in advance and cook only those orders. So no wastage, no stored meat, no preservatives, just daily cooked food right from the kitchen.

Meet Mo Sheikh, our dear friend and special guest.  Mo was born and raised in Aleppo, Syria. Mo came to Eindhoven 5 years ago, he is one of the 11 million Syrians who have fled their homes since the outbreak of the civil war in March 2011.  Mo left everything but his memories and his passion for food. Cooking his traditional food reminds him his family, his country and who he is. He started to cook when he was 16. He helped at his family business, they had an Arabic sweets shop and a catering service. Mo learned from his grandmother mainly. She taught Mo how to cook with very simple equipment using special skills. You really cannot miss this chance to try authentic Syrian food cooked with love.
