Identifying all the negative responses she encounters in her daily life, this woman has compiled them all and placed them at the bottom of her tunic to symbolize the barriers that hold her back .

 

Next, the burden of everyday household work, which is often ‘’naturally’’ assigned to her by society is represented by the belt that encircles her. This belt bears down upon her, a constant reminder of the expectations placed on her.

 

Finally, if she can overcome these obstacles, she will be able to bloom and flourish and utilize her talents, just like the remarkable women depicted on her dress. Her struggles become part of her story, shaping her into the strong, resilient woman that she is.
