WHAT IS START HER UP
Start Her Up is an integrated business creation program focused on empowering 15 unemployed women to establish their own business in The Netherlands.
Start Her Up offers a unique blend of business advisory, personal development, and the cultivation of essential entrepreneurial skills.
The program is led by accomplished entrepreneurs and industry experts, who lead engaging group sessions and peer coaching, all spanning a four-month journey. With our small group size, we provide personalized attention, ensuring effective coaching during the crucial pre-start-up phase.

We welcome unemployed women who possess a well-defined vision for the businesses they aspire to launch.

With available time
Participants should have a minimum of 14 hours per week available to dedicate to the program. This ensures that they can fully engage with the comprehensive training and coaching we offer to support their entrepreneurial endeavors

We enthusiastically invite individuals who have passion, creativity, and a sincere eagerness to embrace the world of entrepreneurship.
THE PROGRAM
Our program is an enriching four-month journey, spanning from October through January, with brief pauses during the Herfstvakantie and Christmas holidays to ensure a well-balanced learning experience. It is thoughtfully structured into three distinctive phases, each building upon the previous, equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and insights needed for successful entrepreneurship. An essential component of this program is the requirement for participants to wholeheartedly commit to attending all sessions, as this engagement is vital to their growth and development throughout this transformative entrepreneurial adventure.
Start Her Up is funded By Gemeente Eindhoven, participants will only pay a participation fee of 65 euros.
Sessions will take place twice a week in Eindhoven, in person.
Age, educational level, marital status, family size, lack of experience, lack of self- confidence, fear of taking risks, household roles and expectations, and childbearing roles, are among the major social and cultural constraints limiting women's development and success as entrepreneurs.
This part of the project focuses on giving tools to overcome these challenges. We want to inspire the participants by introducing successful entrepreneurs as role models and make it easier for women to identify themselves with thesel role models.
The aim of this phase is to develop entrepreneurial competencies and to explore the feasibility of the business idea.
It has been designed to enhance the capacities of early-stage women entrepreneurs and increase the success of their overall entrepreneurial performance.
Participants will take masterclasses, workshops and practical sessions that cover a wide range of topics that an entrepreneur needs to master to manage her own business.
Clearly, social networks play a key role in the entrepreneurial process, bringing important benefits for entrepreneurs in terms of human, social, and financial capital.
We will provide you the tools to improve your networking skills and we create opportunities for you to connect with other business women, and with other entrepreneurship organizations in the region.
